Arrival of Cela DT Spyders

Cela’s latest DT range of ‘Spyder’ self propelled platforms have arrived at our works depot in Melbourne.

Both the DT15 and DT24 offer 15 metres and 24 metres of working height respectively and a 200kg safe working load. These units, which can also be truck mounted, were recently introduced into the Cela fleet of platforms with great success and have received world wide reviews.

David Storrs from Kimberley Trees in Kununurra Western Australia visited our office and acquired the first Cela DT24 ‘Spyder’ to arrive in Australia. David will be using his new platform for tree clearing within the Kimberley region and was impressed by the overall performance and features, just to name a few;

  • 24m working height
  • 12m reach
  • Hatz silenced engine, alternatively the unit also incorporates an auxiliary electro-pump
  • Automatic stabilising

25th Anniversary

GMJ celebrates 25 years of ‘reaching greater heights’.

2010 saw the 25thAnniversary of GMJ Equipment since it was first established by Managing Director Joe Cetraro in 1985. A cocktail event recognising the milestone was held in November 2011 where staff, customers and suppliers alike joined in honouring Joe and GMJ Equipment for the outstanding achievement.

GMJ’s success is a tribute to the loyalty and confidence of our valued customers and the support generated from our suppliers to help us continually grow as Australia’s preferred manufacturer of Elevating Work Platforms.

After 25 fantastic years, the GMJ ‘Family’ are thrilled to still be offering a great service and we are looking forward to our continued commitment and success to our customers and community for another 25 years!

Basket liner redesign

The basket liner has been redesigned to include an internal step to safer access. Furthermore, the weight of the liner has been reduced from 55kg to 35kg. This minimises the impact to the SWL as the liner forms part of this.
